RE: 2009 Contractor Safety Excellence Awards
Dear GNOIEC/MGCSC Members:
As the posting of the OSHA 300 Annual Summary of Injuries is now due (February 1 – April 30), it reminds us that all Owners and Contractors need to begin the injury record submission process in advance of our annual Safety Excellence Awards program. All Owner and Contractor Members of the Greater New Orleans Industrial Educational Council and the Mississippi Gulf Coast Safety Council are eligible and encouraged to participate in the program.
The Contractor Safety Excellence Awards Program is designed specifically to provide industry peer and public recognition of your safety successes. Attendance at the 10th Annual Banquet on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 is encouraged as a way to recognize those key individuals in your organization who demonstrate outstanding safety commitment to the industry, your company and your employees.
The 2009 Awards Packet, including application and schedule of events is available on the GNOIEC web site, www.gnoiec.com. Applications must be submitted electronically and include 3 digital pictures, your company logo and a safety activity synopsis. The deadline for submission is February 26, 2010.
Sponsorship opportunities are now available for companies wanting their company name and logo to appear in the program, and on a banner in the banquet room. Sponsorship includes priority seating the night of the Awards Banquet. Please complete your sponsorship request on the electronic reservation form.
